How to avoid Eruption of Acne after Physical Exercise
Acne outbreaks and sweating after physical exercising are directly connected to each other. One should make use of a washed dry handkerchief or towel to wipe the sweat to remove moisture present on the face, it is preferred if mild blotting is done instead of wiping hard. If one indulges in excessive wiping, there is a possibility of irritation of face skin besides moving the cosmetics applied and dirt deeper into the skin pores.
When the sweat is absorbed by the clothing one is wearing, this increases the breeding conditions favorable for bacterial growth. There are increased chances of friction by rubbing action at the skin due to leaning, presence of tight helmets on face for long periods, articles carried on the back bag, stiff collars etc. All of them can make the acne worse.
Harmful Skin Bacteria as a cause for Acne
Bacteria harboring at the skin also becomes active in favorable conditions of moisture and busy day and night to increase their population enough to cause acne eruption. The bacteria secretes enzyme to act on the fat and in the process skin irritating substances are released giving rise to inflammation.
